Also remember putting two SH together doesn't mean they will be a pair, in my personal experience of Marulius, You may have some serious problems ahead of you!

10ft large is how many cm aprox ?? 300 cm x 100cm x 50 cm tank is ok?



but the marulis specie a think that is more tolerant that the micropeltes specie !! is correct?

Y need know if I need buy other marulis (for the aggressiveness be divided bettween three) like the piranhas (when you got only 2 piranhas, the agressivity is more than you when got three or more piranhas) because the agressivity is divide beetween more piranhas) I need knok if in snakeheads is equal?

120cm minimum width for 2 adults.

keeping two adults in a home tank is very very difficult, keep that in mind.

Marulius are incredibly aggresive even to their own kind. My female killed 2 other males it was with, one of which seemed to be it's pair!
This was at a young age in a pond!!!!

Remember also, these guys can get longer than Micropeltes.


Post some new pics too! (I'm still wondering if at least one of yours pictured is Marulioides. My Marulius at that size looked much different.

But, can you identify the marulius sex so young age???



Here Y think that she´s are channa marulius true !! i can see the orange false eye in his tails, and a fringe (orange line) in his bodys




So is impossible put a big red tail cattfish with she´s in this great acuarium? (remember that the red tail catt fish is a bigger and fat fish, very strong , maybe the channas ignore him??

Red tail cat may be OK.

look at the orange line going through my Marulioides, and also see the same vertical bar patterns on it's body:



I still think your SH could be Marulioides.

The Orange eye is also visible in Marulioides too.
Marulius orange eye is a lot stronger and darker.
Your fish also seems to have the same kind of vertical banding of a Marulioides.
Also, Marulius tend to have a dark vertical bar going through the center of the eyes.

Uuh yes I think that maybe you have reason

The channa marulioides is aggressiv with other fishes? how what is the marulioides size? is a beautifull snakehead specie (like de marulius and micropeltes) ?
I dont know nothing about marulioides

Marulioides are great snakeheads. I have a pair, and of all my snakeheads they are one of my faves!

They get to around 26" and grow very fast.
They are usually pretty peaceful, and have ben known to do OK in a community tank.

I can be 100% sure Marulioides right now!

They look much better now.
Time to pump those big boys up!

Try and keep the ph low, and they will thrive.

Tokyogasmask is right it is Channa marulioides and not C. marulius.
