Anabantoid Association of Great Britain AAGB Members Weekend 27th and 28th March 2010

Ibis Hotel Rotherham.

Presentations, talks, auctions, meals and plenty of socialising.

I am pleased to confirm that the forum's Auke de Jong is attending the AAGB members weekend and he will present a Channa talk based on one given at the International Channa Meeting in Meppel.

If any non members would like to attend the meeting they can join the association, on the day, for just £8 for the year - they will then receive The Labyrinth publication at least 4 times a year (we have some interesting channa publications to come) and be invited to 2 meetings a year.

Hope some of you guys can make it - sure you'll enjoy it!!

Hello all,

it was my first AAGB-members weekend and it has been superb! A perfect friendly and relaxing atmosphere, nice people, good food, good drinks, nice and interesting conversations etc. Shame its over yet already. !

Well, we discovered some Channa panaw during the shop-tour on friday. They are still in the UK because it is impossible to take them on a flight. f.e. My shaving foam and tooth paste were filtered out of my luggage twice (arrival and departure)

Nice to have you at the AAGB weekend. Think we had a good balance of meeting and socialising and I hope you enjoyed it.

Your Channa presentation was excellent and really went down well with the members.

Shame you missed the Auction which included:

Bettas Macrostoma, Rubra, Pershephone, Brownorum, Antoni, Tussyae, Simorum, Enisae, Stigmosa, Sengalang as well as 5 species of Paros.
