Hello Channa friends,

A Malaysian guy who lives in Germany...Into Channa since last year but looks like this year I got the Channa fever. Already in contact with a few Channa "experts" in Germany and hoping to find as many friends out there. At the moment, I only keep Channa ornatipinnis but looking forward to add some more species..:-). I had Channa gachua a few years back but stop keeping them due to the limited space..But now I am ready to come back...with some more etxra tanks:-)

Best regards,
sam safial

Na_cheers > I am "originally" from Kuala Lumpur but regularly in Terengganu. Still remember I was bitten by Channa micropeltes at Tasek Kenyir...:-)....I used to fish this species in Tanjung Malim, Perak. Lots of micropeltes if go to the lake of Kalumpang.

Brucki > Thank you so much. I wish you live nearby so that I can take a quick visit :-). I am planning to visit Pascal this Saturday..the nearest Channaholics in my area:-). I plan to go back in June for a few weeks..for a quick holidays and fishing trip...Not to forget....mom's cooking:-)

Hello Sam, welcome here!

Tell us something about Pascal´s new fishroom. I saw his fishroom at his formerly address, it looked a little bit chaotic like mine, with a skull of a sheep in the middle. His new room might be great, but I haven´t seen it jet.

What species did you get?

I´m keeping pulchra, bankanensis and a variant of gachua, if you are looking for some of this species tell me, I´m living near Düsseldorf.

Hello Klaus,

I went to Pascal's fishroom last saturday which I think was a heaven for me:-). A cool guy...very genuine!.

For the first time, I never thought people want to breed Channa..as we in Malaysia normally have Channa as food or sport fishing...:-).

I did get some fish from Pascal...some juveniles from Channa stewartii cf. barca, Channa orientalis and adult Channa ornatipinnis. But looking forward to add some more species in the nearest future. The fish room looks great to me...he is "abusing" every corner of the space which I think really brilliant:-).

I am passing thru Düsseldorf Hbf 3 times a week when I have to work in Cologne. ...Perhaps one of this day we should meet up for coffee and visit your fishroom and Channa collection.

Lets fix a date...:-). Please PM me you contact no.

sam
